Caring Recovery Professionals

Our Philosophy

Our philosophy is to meet each individual client exactly where they are when they enter our program. We understand that addiction is a disease and everyone is effective differently by this condition.

Our goal is to help each person to understand the underlying issues that have caused them to abuse substances, alcohol or engage in other destructive behavior in order to get their needs met. Through personalized treatment we can help individuals find the right tools to replace their unhealthy habits and go on to live a happy, fulfilled life.

Here at Magnolia Recovery we believe addiction treatment should be:

Accessible

No matter what your gender, race, age, sexual preference, religious beliefs or lifestyle choices are – you should be able to get the care you need.

Evidence-based

Addiction Treatment should be rooted in science and focused on methods that are proven to be effective for long-term recovery.

Personalized

Your individual needs should be evaluated and a custom care program should be made to meet your health goals, without having to buy into of any specific philosophy.

Affordable

Getting treatment shouldn’t be so expensive. Our program is designed to provide the care you need at a price you can afford.

The Magnolia Recovery program provides care in a shame-free environment that is accessible to anyone.

“You are not alone and this is not the end of your story.”

The Magnolia Recovery Mission

Our Mission is to honor each client as an individual.

We aim to help guide as many people as possible through every level of care, including support after completing our recovery program, with the goal of discovering a fulfilling life free from chemical dependency.

We understand that successful treatment includes a comfortable and safe environment. We work hard to make our program as accessible and inclusive as possible, ensuring each individual that comes through our doors feels welcome and deserving of care.

Ken Levi

CEO

A proud father of five, Ken began his professional career as a general contractor and real estate developer, building successful projects and businesses throughout Southern California.

His path took on a deeper purpose when one of his children needed help overcoming addiction. That personal experience opened his eyes to the challenges families face when searching for compassionate, trustworthy, and effective treatment. Motivated by what his own family experienced, Ken entered the detox and rehabilitation field with a mission to help as many individuals and families as possible find hope, healing, and a path toward lasting recovery.

Ken’s work is guided by a belief that remains at the heart of everything he does:

Brent Aiello-Ortner

Brent Aiello-Ortner

Executive Director

Brent Aiello-Ortner serves as Executive Director of Hollywood Detox and Recovery Dynamics, functioning as the organization’s chief executive and providing leadership across strategy, operations, organizational performance, clinical service delivery, culture, growth, and long-term development.

A behavioral healthcare executive with nearly 25 years of industry experience and more than 15 years in C-level leadership, Brent has built his career leading organizations through periods of growth, transformation, operational complexity, and strategic change. His experience spans substance use disorder and behavioral health treatment, healthcare operations, laboratory services, revenue cycle management, private equity, organizational restructuring, and mergers and acquisitions.

At Hollywood Detox and Recovery Dynamics, Brent is leading a multipronged strategy focused on expanding access to high-quality treatment, strengthening organizational and clinical excellence, and helping redefine the culture of addiction treatment around compassion, empathy, dignity, and collaboration. A central part of that mission is establishing the organization as a significant voice in overdose education and prevention at a time when fentanyl and other high-potency synthetic opioids have fundamentally changed the risks facing individuals, families, and communities.

His treatment philosophy reflects that responsibility. He believes people entering treatment should be met with compassion rather than judgment, partnership rather than punishment, and dignity regardless of where they are in their recovery. In its simplest form, his philosophy is to “love our clients until they can love themselves again.”

Brent holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. Outside of his professional life, he has been married for 25 years and is the proud father of a son currently attending college. His family also includes a couple of much-loved pugs. An avid reader and lifelong learner, Brent enjoys sailing whenever his schedule allows and spending time on the water with friends and family.
